Big Crowds...Small Gold.

Got in a seven hour solo hunt at the beach in the Memorial Day crowds...water was calm, clear and 83 degrees, so it was a great day regardless of what I might find...decent amount of targets...no rings but I got a 3.9 gram 10k earring...Ive found earrings in this style before that looked gold but were marked .925 and plated in gold, so I was surprised when I saw the 10k mark...I think its the heaviest gold earring Ive found...I broke the post off while cleaning it...I haven't seen gold lately so it was a welcome sight...I think the A Team is going to get together next weekend...me, Mike and David haven't been out together in awhile....good luck to everyone.

Wow, that earring is heavy, heavier than a lot of ladies rings. Can't imagine wearing it, but very nice to find.
