It's been about two weeks since I have found anything worth posting but that ended today ! That week I was down in Mexico on a family vacation , no detector , and this week my boss had no work for me so I have been hunting every day . The schools are closed for the summer so I hunt just about anywhere ! I hunted a school today that I had some luck back in the 1990's . It has many trees on the field so I hunted around each one . I got a super strong +40 VDI on my M6 at the surface . I didn't even have to hardly dig . A nice big sterling silver bracelet , 23.1 grams . I started to leave when I thought I would make a quick pass in the tot lot . I'm glad I did ! I had a +12 in the bark so I just pushed the bark with my foot and I saw gold ! It is a very small 1.1 grams 10K gold ring with three small diamond chips . It's #83 ring for 2012 ! The other good find was one lonely wheat cent , 1944S .
