Those are some real nice finds James !! I have yet to turn up a franklin half ! I believe the tear drop item is a tear drop rossette ! Keep hitting that site !! MaineRelic.

James, I believe the teardrop shaped brass is the end piece that attached to horse reins. I have some that are

octagonal, square, chevron-shaped, and have seen some tear-drop shaped such as the one you have. Nice saves and nice silver buddy! :icon_thumleft: :wink: :wink:
