Big Silver Ring & whats the stone?

Big Silver Ring & what's the stone?

Found this silver ring yesterday at a fair ground near me. It's silver, 6 real/fake? diamonds and a cut pink stone?. Finally, a decent find!
Need to take it to the jewler.

Re: Big Silver Ring & what's the stone?

Very nice looking ring, WTG!!!
I don't know much of anything about diamonds, and sure don't know anything about other stones, but I've heard they don't place real diamonds into silver. Although, back in the old days they did, so if the rings very old, it may be real diamonds...

One way to check is to get a black light. A real diamond will glow under it.(blue in color) The better the diamond the better it will glow... Hope this helps...

Continued Good luck, & Happy hunting~

several years ago there was a pink stone that everyone had to have...I cant remember the name of it..but the stone was manmade... someone remember...heck I cant remember the dang name of that stone..

Re: Big Silver Ring & what's the stone?

Ashleen - I think it is Topaz. Don't think they are real diamonds seeing as its a silver ring.

I think they called them "pink ice" rings.

Re: Big Silver Ring & what's the stone?

I think DANG is right on! "Pink ice" is a cubic zirconia (manmade) stone.

Nice ring!.............HH
