Thanks all, yeah idk if it was skinner but looks used, I did take that pic with different filter to bring out the details a little more, not to alter color, View attachment 1673343 View attachment 1673344 View attachment 1673345 View attachment 1673346 View attachment 1673347 View attachment 1673348 View attachment 1673350 And the sheen from hand wear use , a lot of the tools off this site usually seem to be quick made used few times then just flake a new tool, why carry it all around when you could just grab a new piece when you needed it, place it rich with chert sources, unlike other areas around the US, just assuming but, Thanks for replies,

Just a flake broken off to get to better flint. The sheen is cortex-part of the original stone .
