Weather man was spot on this time..... First we got the strong winds, Then the rain, hail and now heavy snow. I'm good with it all, as it fills up the lower wetlands around here and I can go bird watching at those places. I don't think I'm going to have it near as bad as RG will up in Summit county. Hopefully he's got him a strong roof on his house.

Sad to see Tamrock, but it'll melt fast. We had a turn too on the weather; a bit of snow last week and some rain but less than announced and it was a blessing for the 3500 flooded homes surrounding the St-Lawrence and tributaries. As I write, it's now 30 Celsius and I am the one melting now... Hope to see some bird pictures from Colorado, take care!

5-18a.jpg Came down hard for about 12 hours straight and has sort of eased up a little. About 20 inches so far. Bad road conditions as it was a heavy wet snow so driving's a little tricky. Luckily it's mostly locals around now and we're more used to it, but still saw a couple of accidents on the way home from work this a.m.

It's been coming down wet and heavy since last night and hasn't let up yet. Gonna be a nightmare for those coming home during rush hour. Tree branches are braking off now and they're all looking weeping willows.

95 whoa !!! It's still lightly coming down this morning, but the air temperature has gone up. We're gonna see a pretty quick melt off. I've got a pretty good pile of cottonwood branches stacked on the side of the house now.

We didn't have any snow down here in the valley, but had a slow rain for a couple of days. A nice soaking rain. The sun is out and it looks like it is going to be a beautiful day.
