blanchon paris brevete sgog.. least that is what i can make out.... found at a old 1920s school site that used to be a park before that.. any ideas??? MR TUFF

To add to goldguru's post, "Breveté" indicates that the design of this unknown item
incorporates one or more patents claimed by Blanchon.
"S.G.D.G." (Sans garantie du Gouvernement) is a disclaimer
required by the government of France
stating that it does not guarantee enforcement of the claimed patent.

It sounds like a form of cap gun then. If I understand correctly (don't trust my interpretation), it uses rolls of caps.
