Blast from the past...

[Jack(IN)]

Here are a few of the coins I've found in the past. The 1880 gold coin was found in WVA, the 09-S(no vdb) was found right next to a 1912-S(can't find that pic tho) in an old Park, the 1858 Flying Eagle was dug in a private yard is beside the Buffalo in the pic.

Thats how it should be, but these coins I posted were finds from 2001/2002 and ALL in the summer/fall. Seems if you think your going to be the best out there, then you probably will be, good luck and hope you find some great ones!!

Once in a lifetime find for me!!! One gold coin in 24 years of detecting, but it took 17 years to find it, so I figure somewhere in the year 2018 I should be posting my second gold coin. Seems about right!! I'm not Ole' Grubby, but sure wish I had his locations!!!!!

That coin was found in an old football field and in the background you could see an old close coal mine. It was also the only coin I found there. When I stopped at the school the gate was open and no signs and I went right to the field. I remembered it hit right on 37 on my XLT and I gave a loud yell when I found it. It seems the yell was loud enough to bring out the groundskeeper who said he had forgot to shut the gate and sorry, but not allowed to detect it. I thanked him, apologized and left. To this day I still wonder whats in that field!!
