Not asking about claims but about private land in Nevada.

Lots of BLM land I'm assuming private landowners can't fence and/or make it inaccessible?

Maybe a dumb question but I'm trying to legally access some pretty remote parts of Nevada as a prospector. Curious what obstacles I might encounter.

Thanks!

On another note I've got a friend in Sugarland that comes out here to Arizona to do his prospecting. He got tired of busting his butt for fly poop in the Lano River. If you listen to the PBS radio station on Sundays he does the Bluegrass Zone show in the afternoons.

Ask him if he knows Charlie Gearheart and the Goose Creek Symphony

Charlie lives in AZ, but comes up here to salmon fish with us every year. You'll never
meet a nicer guy, and even though he's getting long in the tooth, he's still out there
playing for he people every chance he gets.

My buddy Chris is the leader of "The Lonestar Bluegrass Band" and is a heck of a good banjo picker. next time I talk to him I'll ask if he knows Charlie by chance.
