Those two colors just seem to go well together and when you add diamonds... well, the result is pretty special! Here's a pic of the sapphire ring I found at Daytona today. The waves were really strong - we've had some storms of late - and too strong for me to consider venturing into the surf to do a bit of hunting. Turns out that it didn't matter; I found this beauty about 20 minutes into the day in the wet sand lane. It's marked 10K. In a few hours I also found a cute matchbox-like Ford Explorer, a dollar bill up on the dry sand, a Wheat Penny (1942), and 44 cents in clad.
Another serious bonus: my hunting buddy, DR, who happens to be an electrician, presented me with a pretty sophisticated homemade reverse-electrolysis kit. He even went so far as to arrange it so I could either use it at home or if I'm in a hurry, I can plug it into my car's cigarette lighter! How's that for impressive?!?
Tell me I didn't have a great day at the beach!
