Don't see these posted often. These are pretty rare (for me at least). I found this during my digging days in Hillsborough County Florida; it was fairly deep between 3-4 feet down. 2 3/8 by 1 2/8

I think so. This point is very translucent when soaked in mineral oil, even the outer cortex.
