Looks maybe like a pig bone. Its fun to dig the trash pits of older homes. My yard has one from the 20's.

Nice finds however a 55 gallon drum, bones with saw marks on them and a possible connection of the property and the mob. I would be asking someone in authority to check the bones out for DNA just to be on the safe side. Heck Jimmy Hoffa might be in your back yard. Just saying..........

My father said the same thing. The bones are pretty nice size so I figured it had to be a large animal they were feasting on. The whole house is a mystery to us. And many of the kids grew up to be defense lawyers lol.

For example the mystery door that leads to the above garage attic. Has a fire place and a window but no stairs and according to my neighbors that can't recall it ever having stairs.

Very strange, all this and no skull, which could be used to identify what was killed, cut up and buried, that really makes me wonder what exactly you've uncovered. Keep posting about what else you find.

Just an update, I continue to find bones all through out the yard as I'm preparing for my garden. Some are bleach white and some are the dirty yellow color. I look at them and just keep on going. I had someone tell me not to ask too many questions that built and has owned the home sine 1930 because I don't want to know. Really I DO, but I'll leave it at that.

I have seen a lot of cut bones in my yard from the past hundred years. Most likely butcher cuts from old meals and then thrown to the dogs.
