I have it on good authority from someone very close to the show that many more human bones have been found at Oak Island. The reason it's not mentioned on the TV show is the last two announcements led to too many legal claims the remains had to be protected.

Anyone else hear this?

1755 - Captain Lewis included Oak Island on his chart.

1759 - British Governor of Nova Scotia, Charles Lawrence, approved the Shoreham Grant, which offered free land grants as a way to generate population growth.

1762 - Shoreham Grant land, which included Oak Island, was approved by Charles Morris, Surveyor General of Nova Scotia, and the island was subdivided into 32 four acre lots.

1783 - End of the American Revolution sent a wave of settlers, the United Empire Loyalists, to the area.

​1791 - Poll tax record show Oak Island was inhabited and being farmed.

It has been claimed when some of the earlier settlers died they was buried on the island. So finding of bones is no mystery in itself.

It might be entirely coincidental on the 1880 map below there is a Surname name "T Graves? " Or is it a map typo actually meaning for actual gravesites?

I do not believe the searchers bones and others on Oak Island would date to the 16th or 17th Century from the Mediterranean Sea? But with today's science who really knows?

That much weight you would need a steel pallet or a dump truck. Try to pick that up with a forklift and it would break into the middle. But since it is made of wood. We could pick it up with our hands.
