2nd day out with my new used whites.
Tried a very old park and man-o-man did i hit bottle caps. Can't pass up a good signal cause i dug up 3 clad quarters, 2 clad dimes and 2 pennies...but pull tabs and bottle caps reined.
Guess the area hasn't seen much detecting cause i think most good TH'ers woulda got a lot of the junk out of the way.
I'll start takin pics of this stuff some day but I'm happy with my finds for an hours worth or rain drop dodging.
Cant believe this area hasnt been hit hard. Used to be a swimmin area and ice skating rink before becomming a concrete pool years later.
The park dates back to the 1840's so I'm bettin i'll turn out some goodies.
Last time I detected in that park, although a different area, i turned up indian heads and barbers. It was more secluded than the obvious picnic shelters that I was at today so I wasnt finding the junk I was today. Huge park close to home, within 15 min drive. Guess where I'll be in my spare time?
