Bottle opener

[Ccarson]

So I went to an older location that has seen activity starting around the 1890's. I didn't find much but this bottle opener. But not sure about the age. Any ideas ?

Did a quick forum search - found a bunch of hits. This one looks promising... Bottle opener what's-it? (Dec 19, 2011)

looks more like a Paint Can opener to Me.
it doesn't have the Lips to Grab the Beer Cap

Of course it may have been for the Painter who drinks, and invented by
prohibitionists

I won't rule out a Vintage Milk Cap Opener Remover Tool
