A small find from today (literally), while detecting about 10 yards from these steps - the bottom half of a lead or metal toy soldier. Has a sword on the side, small roll on the front, and pack on the back. Guessing it was meant to be Colonial or British?

Always like any old toy finds. A half is better than none. Congrats to ya!

Generic question. Did you happen to keep detecting in the area to see if you could find the upper half ?

I did a little bit, but not thoroughly -- your question though is making me want to go back to see if I could find the upper.
