How do you think this hobby is linked to the field of parapsychology? Do you have any anecdotes that make you think you've experienced things like premonitions or sensations of people that pased away is guiding you to a place where you should search? I'd like to hear what has happened to you.

Mexico is full of chamanes and areas where people can feel stranges vibes or energy flowing in the air.

It is very interesting as there is more to our world than what we can see.
I knew the finder of the Hand of Faith nugget Kevin Hillier. Before he found the nugget he had such a vivid dream of finding it. In his dream he dug it up, found it exactly what he dreamt about. It was so vivid he wrote it all down and had a friend neighbor verify it. So the fact is that dream was documented you could say. The next time he went detecting he found it, exactly as in his dream with the "finger" of the hand the first thing seen pointing upwards. Did the dream help him find it? Can't say, but he did 100% dream of finding that huge nugget exactly how he found it.
Was it a premonition? What was the purpose of him dreaming it if he found it anyway! He was a man of faith, and that's why it got its name.
Amazing story and find. Perhaps it was to show that there is more to our world and life than meets the eye.

Agree, we can’t see anything, but we could with some training that help us to develop other capabilities that for sure are resting

Personally no things that are technically considered paranormal but enough instances where just sensing something wasn't right like once detecting I felt something was amiss for a while and would stop and look about then a little while on I spotted a guy hiding in the bushes watching me. I didn't hear anything or see anything but knew something wasn't right. A sense. So that's not physical its something beyond physical isn't it. Another time meeting a guy everything in me felt kind of angry and out of the blue I seriously felt like knocking him out. I just instantly hated him. He acted normal, wasn't rude. Later I found out he was a pedo. That anger I believe was kind of spiritual sensing how evil he was. Like two magnets opposing each other and can never meet.
Things like that have always convinced me there's more to all this than physical.

You are right, there is more than pysical things.
Like another way to perceive things.

Frequently I woke up singing a random song and then the radio set the Same song, like perceiving radio frequency 🤪
