Hey everyone, I found this brass thing and I am not sure what it is. It looks vaguely hinge-like, and I found it on my early 1800’s site. It could be containment. Thanks for reading!

I’m gonna say it’s whats left of a suspender buckle

Thanks ya'll, I think your right. That makes it the second clothing related item I found, the other being a brass boot toe cover. Makes you wonder how all these items were lost. Thanks again!
