SCROLL TO BOTTOM FOR NEW PICS

This is about the same diameter as an eagle breast plate but is definitely not an eagle. The rest of the plate is rolled underneath but in such a way that I can't tell. Any ideas? Found in SE VA in area with lots of troop activity. So it may or may not be to that period.

That was my thought as well

Ok, the fruit has been identified, I might only eat strawberry Pop-Tarts but I was able to solve that part of the riddle.

The question remains what was the brass piece a decorative item for?

Probably a brass butter mold circa pre 1940. Possibly from Wilton Co

I'm curious just HOW the "pros" straighten out this type stuff. Whoever it was, did a great job.
Anybody know?
How much did it cost Fever?

The restorer only charged me $20. As for "how" I'm sure that is a trade secret.

I like that idea. I'll see if I can find anything similar. Thanks!
