Found at an old farm that spans more than two centuries. The two back mounting points make me think Bridal Rosette. Can't tell if it has a woodland scene on it or just scratches.

I'm thinking dandy button with the shank broken off and holed to sew in place. :dontknow:
Would make a nice dandy, but too large and too heavy.

I would have to lean with Oldmxrats idea. It just doesn't look thick enough to be a Bridal Rosette.

It's 47.4mm in diameter. 1.3mm thick, and weights 16.64 grams. Just seems a bit large for a dandy. I've read that the thickness of bridle rosettes varied. It also has the solder points where the rectangular shank would be attached.
