Well the machine seems to mess up a couple times a year. Today was the first of 2015. Did nine boxes of halves and got shorted $22.50 total.

You know this from counting the rolls before you dumped, or after you dumped? Which ever the case, ouch!

I could tell which rolls were short because coins were clearly missing. Both ends were machine rolled but there would be a gap on one end. Some rolls had 9.50, other 9, worse was 8.50 on a few.

Did you find any silver in the 9 boxes? Was you loss covered?

My Brinks boxes are perfect - perfect skunks.

Ever since Brinks in my area did away with the bubble tube on dimes, to a very heavy green/white paper wrap, I have seen a severe drop in AG dimes. I just wonder if they have a new machine that can extract silver?

Google the Brinks "super sorter" - apparently folks say it has the ability to sort out silver.

Could very well be the current situation. What have they got to loose, all the AG to gain, since they are sorting out rejects anyway, why not the silver also. Some time back in 2014 I made a post mentioning the fact that a friend of mine who works for Cummings Coin Machines said that they(Cummings) have developed a coin sorter that can extract AG on demand. Sounds like the truth is coming out. Only too bad but half of my banks use Brinks.

Well brinks made up for the shorted boxes. My thursday order was amazing! Truly a once in a lifetime score.
