For a skunk streak that is. Today I picked up my last 2 boxes for the week which were skunks also, this puts my total at 24 in a row now for skunks, shattering my previous record of 14 on a row about 8-9 months ago. I know there are others that have endured a longer streak but, this is definetly an all time low for me, 2 weeks with out finding any silver just sucks. I know there are the highs and lows of this hobby ( and been through both) but something has definetly changed here recently between the Black and White wraps, different marks on coins than I'm use to seeing and not even any proofs or Magians coins in any of these boxes. I'm sure it will turn around again like it allways does, I'm just hoping it's soon. Haven't had anytime to drive around doing a CWR hunt from the banks with Christmas coming, or I might have found something, but the New Year is upon us and hopfully good boxes will come our way ( and I mean all of us on here). So, I hope everyone has a great Christmas, and may the New Year be a prosperous one for all of us! HH Everyone, Maverick.

I just checked my chart and I haven't seen any new silver since Nov 30, and that was CWR. Before that, my last MWR silver from boxes was Nov 1.

Ouch, ok, you beat me there Wilmington, lol. Never give up, I know I'm going to. HH, Maverick.

i wonder if the cool weather has increased competition?

Some metal detectorists CRH in the winter when they can't detect, but it doesn't increase competition drastically.

I would expect to see the opposite happening, competition decreases in the winter. Depressing out, cold, you can't 'walk from bank to bank' gotta drive everywhere. get out in slush. Worry about noobs who can't drive, and should not be allowed to drive. Then, you get the lingerers in the winter; you know the type of people I speak of homie, the ones who just want to cash a small $10 check and talk to the tellers about their TV bill. And for some reason, especially at banks open late, there is a giant line around the holidays. And the coin machine, people dump crap like dirt, paper clips, hair, string, even dollar bills, into the coin machine more often this time of year, and jam it up for me.

But, when the goin gets tough the tough get goin homeslice.
