Broken bone toothbrush 1800's

I found this 2 mornings ago & searched for the rest of my toothbrush with no luck :(Actually some luck:) In my search I found the complete bowl of a clay pipe with the word "rough" on it. I've found about 100 clay pipe fragments but this is a new maker to me. The brush looks to have been hand carved on site. Imagine having to make your own toothbrush!..or button's! I included 2 bone button's in this pic (I found last year) from the same area (Ontario) in homage of the hearty folk who paved the way to our Walmarts. Ain't we spoiled! They used animal hair to brush their teeth! Respect. Thanks for looking.
