Bronze age axe head !!!

Just a few meters from the location where we found objects post in : http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,429009.0.html , I was surprised to find something special just 9-10 inches deep, a very well preserved bronze ax , 2200-1100 BC

Finding such a thing is a fantastic feeling and I could not believe I'm the one who holds for the first time after thousands of years this object...

Digging something like that would just be awesome to me. I still pick up some of my 2 or 3 hundred year old finds and marvel at the fact I was the first to touch them in a couple centuries - but to think about how long that has been in the ground is amazing. Glad to see it on the banner!!

That's a great find! I'm happy finding 17th and 18th century axes...couldn't imagine one that old! Beautiful.
