Took a day off to get some stuff done, but squeezed in a short hike to an old farm I've hit a few times before. This time I slowed way down and hit the brushiest spots you can imagine, thorn bushes, stickers, briars etc. I'm sure my wife will complain about burrs in the laundry later this week... :-)

Anyways I picked up a bucket of trash, but got a few keepers.

2 wheats (1928 and 1940), part of a compact lid, a few buttons, a pendant, bracelet., maybe a .32 cal bullet. The find of the day is what looks to me like an 1859 Cavalry Spur. Intact except missing the wheel on the tip. I have found a civil war button on this site so I know it's possible this is a civil war spur I guess. Let me know what you think. Next to it I found this piece of a horse bit.

Thanks for looking
