Found this awhile back. I did a search and got mixed answers. It is curved . Is it Art Deco sash or possible shoe buckle? I feel it's not elaborate enough for shoe buckle

It looks stamped out to me, suggesting fairly modern. I agree - it does not look like any shoe buckle I have seen.
