I got this from a vending machine at work today. :headbang: No Date Buffalo nickel.

I fished those machines with about $300 bucks in change last year and got nothing. :BangHead:

Put in a buck fifty for a soft drink today and this came out in change. :hello2:

Give me a home where the buffalo roam Good job

Nice----Didn't even have to get dirty for that one!

How many more are in there.....the world may never know. Congrats!

Very cool gift of the machine and a drink!

Nice recovery on the Buffalo nickel. I put some of my dirty coins in a soft drink machine the other day, hit the change return and all I got back was my dirty coins.

That's some good luck LD!

That would be a very nice surprise ! The little things that make us happy.

I think even a dateless buff is worth a buck or two - so congrats on the free soda!

Nice one, i got a 1903 V nickel in my change last year....

Keep it circulating. It's a survivor!

One of my favorite coins, congrats!

I did this in high school in the early 1990s and hit war nickels from time to time. Back then they were worth maybe $0.20 in silver, and I finally was told to stop since the "lunchlady" got tired of putting coins back into the change trays. Then I figured out how to get dimes from one older machine - put in 50 cents and got 5 dimes back - I got silver dimes every so often but got in trouble for that too. Some people...

Cool vending machine find! Buffs are still circulating and while coin roll hunting I would average 1 about every 2,000 nickels. Never got one with a date, always slicked out. I did luck out on a shield nickel from a Coke machine about 30 years ago. You just never know what will show up and it pays to at least look at your change.

Congrats on the Bison.
Didn't know about "Vending Machine Fishing"
You guys are on top of your game
