Buffalo nickel, marbles and a whatsit!

was digging out an area in my backyard for a fire pit and made sure I detected the area first, I found a 1930 buffalo nickel, a couple (maybe?) old marbles, and this little metal object? not sure what it is? looks like a tuning key? or used to open something? maybe to wind up a watch? I have no clue!

That unkown item is cool, I've found them before, but just tossed them somewhere in the shed. Waiting for an ID.

Have no idea what the "key" is, Nice find though.

Old style metal cans (think sardine or spam) had a metal key that attached to a metal strip on the edge of the can. In winding the key, it would tear the metal strip off the can, break the seal, and allow you to get into the contents. It's basically a built-in can opener.
