I can see the date April 14 I assume 1925

Found at a site I been hammering where I found the war button

Nice find. Yes, 14th April 1925 is the Design Patent date for Wm. Rogers & Son / Mfg. Co. “Triumph” pattern, designed by Ernest T. Beck. It was only made in silver plate, and I would say that’s a fish knife rather than a butter knife.
