I had a neat spot to find old buttons. Someone from my former club had told me about this place where you could literally see the buttons on the ground! Naturally, I had to check this spot out. The first time I went was with my former partner. I'm not into relics really so I would just give away whatever buttons I found. We did find some neat eagle buttons that day but today, well, not so well. I was there for about an hour and I only walked away with what looks like an eagle coat button and something seemingly out of place in little old Hope Valley, RI. A cuff button from the Buffalo Fire Department. The site looks like it has been picked quite clean but I'll still give it another shot every now and then. I placed a nickel in one of the pictures for a size comparison.

Thanks. Unfortunately, the backs of both of these buttons are shot. I'll look around and see if I have some of the others that I've found there and post them.
