I went to an old church I frequent, its where I found my oldest silver.
Today I found this Rimfire cartridge, a 1940 wheat in bad shape, a 72 Lincoln, and this odd/button, brad looking thing.
Here are todays finds, with my lucky lady last. I don't have anything handy to measure the cartridge with, but maybe .32?
Any idea what the round object is?

Man, what the heck????? Get that piano out of there is you can.
Really if it's possible and no one cares I would get it.
On the casing it's modern and looks to be about a .32
The buton thing I think is actually a cuff link. I've seen some like that before that instead of having a chain or round post had a thinner flat post.

I think the piano is toast, at most maybe the sound board is okay. Can't get it in my neon, can't help it much.

That's a shame. I hate to see stuff like that get ruined.

No one ID-ed the fly! ;D Judging by the condition of the building, I'd say the piano is shot. I agree with VaYank, I hate to see things ruined. Back last fall, I found a piano that had been thrown into the woods. It was in 100's of pieces, and was marked Kohler & Campbell 1928. Also, I think you're mightly brave to go into a building in that condition. Keep digging, I bet there's lots more interesting finds in that yard. Breezie

I would say if VaYank said it was a cuff link, you could take it to the bank since he's been swingin' for about 40 yrs. . . .but we won't talk about his personal life. LOL :laughing7: Breezie

not exactly the same but you get the idea. I've dug some similar to yours but have no idea where they might be.
