Button, buckle or brooch? Help needed it has a FACE..

Hey Diggers, Any help would be amazing. I pulled both from a 1850 school house lot on my land. Can anyone identify the buckle or brooch?

I believe the first item is a fancy suspender clip. Seems to have teeth along one edge.
