✅ SOLVED button experts please read

i dug this button today and i do not want to clean it any more then i have
there are no markings on the back that i can see
but the front has what look like sun rays
i think i know what it is but want someone to confirm it for me

ok it turns out to be just a sunburst button i cleaned it a little more lost some detail but got what i needed from an other spot

Not sure how you can know what it is unless you see what is in the center. Can you see that? It's what counts.

Looks like writing on the button in the center but can't make it out, but to me it's looks like a colonial button some sort of militia button, AC

Lost me. There's nothing you could get from another site because like I said you are missing the center, and that is what makes the difference. Being a starburst isn't anything that had to be figured out, that part is obvious.
