Button Help. Fancy coat button or meaningful letters SOLVED Hampton Normal Institute

Any ideas? Waterbury Scovill Mfg Co. I've seen a bunch of their railroad and ship buttons with letters like this, but can't seem to find a match. Or is it just a fancy blazer button?

I found your button in Alberts. Its num, SU 164. H N I, Hampton Normal Institute, Hampton VA 1868. So its a military academy button...nice find man!

Funny thing is, I was wondering if that were an N or an H but didn't think about both.
