I found a deep old button today.
Oxfordshire & Buckinhamshire is on the button with some kind of a clover over a pipe looking object surrounded by a wreath.
Can I get an ID and age?
About the size of a US nickel.

Looks like a variation of early 1800’s militia rifleman button. Don’t even see that variety in the military button book. Excellent find!

This British Military Button looks late 19th C, but without a back-mark its a best guess.

Nice old button find with enough detail on it that someone here will ID it soon. Congrats on the find.

Nice find! Yeah, I'd also guess late 1800s/early 1900s.

Your button is a British Army tunic button. It was worn by the Oxfordshire & Buckinhamshire light infantry
Regiment during World War I (1914 to 1918). It was manufactured by J.R. Gaunt & Sons, London England from 1914 until 1945. Very nice save and thanks for sharing!!! "D"

Oh wow that makes me very happy.
Can I ask what that "U" shaped object is?
Bugle?

Thanks Crusader for correcting me on the dates, all I could turn up during my research was what I posted above. I'm going to save the link you posted for future reference / research. Once again thank you sir...
