nothing in the books or on line

I think the backmark is Lewis's Liverpool like this button -

Well darn .. and here I thought it was a B surrounded by flag ..*(n/t)

I think these are uniform buttons from the Booth Steamship Company which operated out of Liverpool & New York. At least that looks a lot like their flag--
