Button ID help please

Dug this nice button today near an old foundation and would appreciate any help on the ID. I'm thinking it may be a WWI or WWII Navy button but any confirmation or additional info greatly appreciated. Thanks!

With some help from some folks on another forum I've ID'd the button as a pre-1941 Coast Guard Uniform button. It's on page 277 of the Albert's book. Here is another example:
