You can try the Relic Man's site. I dont have the link, but itis on my site under "links".

The best way to ID buttons is by the back mark. There are many sites that can help you ID them. Again, visit my site and check out the link section.

IMHO, the best way to find out if they are rare is to post them in "Today's Finds". If it is rare, someone will know. Personally if I dug a button, it is automatically priceless. Of course if someone tells me it is worth a bundle, I will investigate further.

Thanks, i just bought about 200 buttons at an antique shop and they looked new but was'nt 100% sure. I'll post them on here later today.

Agreed, but you won't get nearly as many views. I would post it to today's finds with the topic named someting llike "200 old buttons found at antique store".

I am curious what you paid. I am always looking for a nice antique store find like that, but most of the stuff is junk around here.
