This is a rough sketch of a button I found years ago (at least what little I could make out). If I had to guess I’d say British 1812 era, but it could Rev War. It’s pewter and quite deteriorated, but hoping the sketch has enough for someone to recognize it.

Iron Patch...?

Nothing hits me, but if you're sure about the letters at the top it's a pretty good clue and gives some hope it may be solved.
 
Thanks, I’ll have to get it back out and take a look. Sketch was my best guess at the time.
 
Well the top letters don’t necessarily match exactly, but the remainder could be close to this King and Constitution. Maybe my U is actually an O, my T the right portion of the N? I’ll dig it out this week sometime and see what I can make out. The crown doesn’t look all that close though.
