I hit a few banks today and found 390.00 at the first bank. while talking with the teller she says she thought i was another guy that comes in frm time to time and dumps, and also picks up when they get others in. She said an older lady about 70 came in for the past 3 days and dumped all 390.00 while she was cleaning the house. My heart almost jumped out of my chest i was so excited. As she is loading my bag i can see the ends are taped up. Now im real excited, the few taped rolls i ever got where solid silvers.
When i get to the car i dont even want to start opening them on the chance there garbage, however im convinced there is somethinggood inside. As i unzip the bag, i see the horrible pen marks accross every roll. the 0 with a line through it. I thought no way how can they all be skunks.
Well someone got me excited for nothin. All garbage. Either the CRH is in cahoots with the tellers or a very smart old lady cleaned out her late husbands silver stash.
Anyways it made for i sicking day as all
690.00
i picked up where SKUNKS, and worst yet i could teller they where all someones dumps. Thats the last time i roadtrip to that neck of the woods.
LOL serves me right i guess.

I know alot of you here have great luck with hand rolls, but in my experience they generally are crapola.

I have had 2 good scores with hand rolls and all the rest have been dumps. Where I live, any bank with a coin counter will take a persons rolls and dump them in. So if you go there you will not get any hand rolls to begin with.

The banks without coin counters make you dump in hand rolls. So if you are at such a bank and they have a few hundy in hand rolls, odds are they are from a fellow CRHer.

With handrolls you also have the odd chance that the teller is hip to silver and has pilfered out any goodies that may have been there to begin with. Thus I prefer the coin machine where the silver goes straight from the unknowing depositor to the machine to the coin company to be rolled then to somebody other than me usually lately.

Sounds like JD (in drag this time) having some fun with the competition. 8)
