I was finding nothing but Aluminum pieces all night in my yard. I pounded that yard in and around where I found that bayonet scabbard tip this morning, until there was nothing but plugs left. Bored with Aluminum, I knelt down, and said, "Lord, please let me find a Civil War bullet tonight. Amen.". THE VERY NEXT SIGNAL was this bullet! I found it exactly three feet from the sidewalk, about 25 feet from the front door!
I almost passed out when this rolled out of the hole! I took a picture as it was, after I ran inside to grab my camera.
My detectors headphones weren't (and still aren't) working, so I had to use it without them.
So now today's finds include a bayonet scabbard finale, and a bullet!
