Too cold for too long! Found a patch of woods in the local park cleared of it's underbrush... the only thawed ground around to hunt, and out of the freezing wind. I hour yielded 4 silvers and a nice brass padlock. Sure was good to hear solid loud silver coin signals for a change. :)
Take care and HH, Mike.

Big Mike!!!! Long time no see!!!

Hey how ya been? Over here in Iraq I haven't been able to access the forums I could normally be found on, so the kind folks at TNet took me in. Are you back to hunting out all of the parks in STL or still in FL?

I should be getting out of here mid-April and should be home by May 1st. I'm WAY overdue for a trip to SE Illinois and STL so maybe I'll pop on down there before I go back to my civilian job. Then it'll be back over here next summer for another 9 months to a year.

Cool to see that you're still tearing up the silver too, nice finds!

I'm still swinging an XS but hope to move up to an Explorer II soon.

Good seeing that you're still around.

Those old out-of-the-way haunts are rewarding.

That's some nice stuff (as always) you have found there.

The silver is beautiful, but the lock is very interesting. Looks like it came off an old stage strong box!!! :)

Nice work! What cleaning method did you use on the padlock?
