Most pennies I ever dug at one outing. About half were found in a hole about 2 ft in diameter. Each stack represents 5 pennies for a total of 135 pennies;plus other clad. Most coins I ever dug in one outing too!HH

Wow !!!!!! a whole bunch of pennies in that one hole, Congrats ;D ;D

Nice finds! I wonder if it was buried by some kid? I'd think it'd be odd to find so many pennies in one spot?

Hey! a cache is a cache! I once threw a Coffey can of Lincolns into the lawn beside a barracks when I was in the Army in Germany. I had to fly home the next day and had my penny can sitting in my room. Knowing that I couldn't take them on the plane I did the next best thing, returned them to mother earth from where I had found them. I suppose some day some THer will find them all and either curse me wonder why there were so many pennies in one place!

Nice job Steve. That had to take awhile getting all those out. Any wheats?
I like that large brown magnet in the bottom of the picture. ;D
Congrats. Great finds.

Kool..pennies..I have a 10 gallon jug I put my found pennies in. Then check them all out in the winter. Some times there will be a few pennies that are worth a few bucks. Who knows you may hit the jack pot on one good one.

Guess that was a lucky horse shoe to come up with all those. Congrats and HH.

I stepped out of the office for a few minutes today and hit a local park for a quick... or so I thought quick hunt. I ended up under a big tree with my detector going bonkers! Penny tones everywhere!!! A guy was sitting on one of the park benches told me that that is where a lot of birthday parties are held and that is where they string up the Piñata’s. I need to get back there and get the rest as soon as I get a few hours to spare. All were on the surface or just under the dirt.
