Camp Robber

Canada Jay, aka Gray Jay, or Camp Robber.
I set this up a few days ago and this has been the only thing to visit.
Waiting for a Marten or some other critter to take a look inside the hollow log.

Ron, have you considered putting a bit of lure up inside that log?

A little dollop of this stuff on a stick, and stuck into the top of that
log (inside) would certainly create some interest. Martin, just like their
mink cousins, love to stick their noses into every nook and cranny.

Yes, I use this frequently. It's a good all around predator lure with a lot of skunk in it.
