campaign token? help!

[Kevin8302]

Found this today at an old cabin site, really have no clue what it could be.. one side says vote for president Abraham Lincoln, other side says vote for Andrew Jackson vice president. Haven't attempted to really clean it at all. What's the scoop?

Real great find there. If it was mine, I think I would clean it up and add some reproduction photos of Ab and Andrew. It would be a real cool good luck charm hanging from my neck.

Great find! While it may be hard, it is still possible that you could find the actual Ferrotype Photographs that were in the Campaign Medal. I am sure that many of the Medals may have been destroyed but some of the Ferrotype Photographs may have survived. Worse comes to worse, you could get a reproduction.

Cool find, just keep digging, practice makes perfect.

Awesome token due to Abraham Lincoln being one of our most significant presidents. Also a neat design & lots of gilt left.

Looking forward to seeing your future finds. Andi
