✅ SOLVED Can anyone help me identify this??

This kinda reminds me of the center of an old roulette wheel but I don't think it is. It has markings on it I can't make out. Anyone have any ideas? It measures about 5"x5" and its pretty heavy solid metal!

It's a Victorian lid, I can picture the item I'm thinking of, but can't call it by name. I think it's a lid to a stemmed glass container, perhaps candy or

Yes it was a lid to a candy jar. Have seen some like it in the old timey drugstores the one in my hometown had the candy jars on the counter reach in and get your candy. Not real sanitary I think that's why you no longer see anything like that anymore.
