Detector(s) used
Garrett AT Pro
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Howdy, i'm a newbie to the forum. I've been metal detecting for many years, currently the Garrett At Pro is my detector of choice. The other day I dug this brass badge or metal. The wording on it reads "Shield of Honor" FLC. I searched the internet and couldn't find one similar. The area I was hunting was an old homestead dating back to the 1930's. If anyone has any information about this it would be appreciated.

Welcome to Treasurenet :hello:

An interesting find. I've spent a bit of time searching, without success.

To me, it does point to a school of some sort.
The cornucopia (horn of plenty) and the "Shield of Honor".

FLC = ? ? College?
There is a Fort Lewis College

and here's a link to other FLC possibilities
FLC - Definition by AcronymFinder

The only other "shield" I could find with a cornucopia, was this connection to Chile.
