Found this the other day. Very shiny silver colored. Looks like kyanite, same sort of structure but wrong color. By the way, it doesn't show but the outside is blacker than the ace of spades!

It resembles a granitic gneiss and Kyanite blend. Not positive. :thumbsup:

The shiny is made from Mica. I'd think a sedimentary or metamorphic rock, but I can't remember the name for it.
Phyllite? Schist?

Some of the blue in that maybe coming from Kyanite as it does show up in granitoid materials.

Thanks all! It is really pretty the picture doesn't do it justice, can't make out how needle like it really is. And very silvery, just looks gray in the picture.
