I think I may have just found a 1970 s small date. It's kind of hard to tell in this pic, but the 9 appears to curve pretty sharp towards the 7. Tell me what y'all think.

How do you know?
 
Because I see the zero is higher than the 7.
 
It's a large date. You'll find the difference in the shape of the "zero", then you'll know and see the real difference. The large zero is wide open and even line across all four numbers, whereas on the small date the zero is more confined and the top is below the horizontal line.
 
Ya, about 5 minutes after I posted the pic I looked at it from a different angle and realized it wasn't the small date. FALSE ALARM! :BangHead:
 
Both large date.
 
Just to let you know, I've been searching regularly for over 15 years and have NEVER found a small date. Extremely rare to find in circulation.
