Picked up 250 in CWR. First roll I slide into my hand Im thinking Jackpot!! 8 silver sides shining up at me. Looking closer my excitement fades as they are jagged edges and dropping them onto the table all canadians. Ended up with 39 canadian dimes. 4 68's but they stuck to a magnet. Think they threw so many canadians into the rolls they missed the 2 silver edged roosevelts 63d and 64d.

Box of halves also but turned out it was a skunk.

a day with color is a good day.

Now time for dirt fishing.

Xiao thought he got so many silver dimes because of the edges, but they were all nickel. He/she did get two rosies, though.

Allow me to explain

Xiao en search $250 in CWR dimes and found 2 US silver dimes, 1963D and 1964D. He also found 39 Canadian dimes none of which were silver.

I generally find about 10 Canadian dimes per $250 search. My personal high is 55 and low is zero.

In the last year I have found in US
253 silver FDRs
12 Mercs
18 Canadian silver dimes (1942-1968)
1 US silver proof (2003)

Whew thank MI hunter, I was confused too there for a second myself.

I always get canadian coins usually 2 or 3 dimes or nickles and 8-12 cents per box but this is the highest in dimes so far.

Xiao keep it up, I've found over 100 silver canadians including a 1900 Victoria.
